Former "General Hospital" Cast Member Denise Alexander Pays Tribute to Late Co-Star Jacklyn Zeman
General Hospital Star Mourns the Loss of a Close friend
Losing a close friend is never easy, but losing someone you have worked closely with for many years is even more difficult. This is the sad reality that Denise Alexander, who has portrayed Lesley Webber on General Hospital since 1973, is currently facing.
The recent passing of Jacklyn Zeman, who joined the cast of the show as Bobbie Spencer a few years later, has left her devastated. According to a note shared with Soap Hub, Alexander recalls Zeman's voice and laughter, and finds herself unable to hold back tears.
Sympathy for Zeman's Loss
Alexander is not alone in her grief, as many of Zeman's fans and colleagues have expressed similar sentiments in response to the tragic news. "Your sweetness, sense of humor, talent, and kindness have always been so appreciated. And your hugs are the best."
It's important to take a moment to breathe and collect oneself during times like these. In fact, it's more than okay; it's necessary. Zeman was only 70 years old when she passed away, leaving behind a life that she seemed to cherish deeply.
Since her passing on May 10th, we’ve heard the same heartbreaking reflections about the Port Charles legend losing her battle with cancer. How could a light that once shone so brightly… be extinguished? It's a thought that none of us ever wanted to consider. Alexander summed it up best in her message, "I love you forever. And that just about says it all, doesn’t it?"
