Final Fantasy XIV breaks player records on Steam
The MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV, continues to feel amazing. The game was released in 2010 and was substantially sawn, leading to a new version being released a few years later. Since then, the game has gradually drawn new players, and this weekend it surpassed its previous player record on Steam. More specifically, there were nearly 47,000 players playing at the same moment, breaking the previous record of 41,000 gamers set in 2019.
It's unknown what caused the spike, although it might have something to do with longtime World of Warcraft streamer Asmongold testing the game recently, which you can check out below. Regardless, it's great that more people are discovering and playing the game.
