She has a genetic predisposition to Alzheimer’s disease
The news in Grey’s Anatomy was devastating for Richard (James Pickens Jr.), as it meant he could also lose his daughter. Fans may have noticed that he despaired of her much more after hearing the news.
Even though Richard is worried about Maggie’s future health, it’s not certain that she will suffer from the same illness as Adele (Loretta Devine) and Ellis (Kate Burton). A few scenes in the series also showed that people with genetic predisposition can still live healthy lives until they die.
She was a registered babysitter
There were many things Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) never knew about Maggie and one of those things was that she was registered with a child care agency as a teenager. Meredith found this out when she was looking for a babysitter to watch her stuff so she could visit Derek.
Maggie was always a motivated person who learnt to do most things at a young age, including reading, so this made sense. She graduated from both high school and college early, so it’s no surprise that she learned how to make money early on.
