Kevin Costner 'Never Stops Raising' His 7 Kids – His Daughters Make Him Sandwiches & Shop with Him
Kevin Costner is a father of seven children from three different women. Yet despite his celebrity status, the "Bodyguard" star protects the bond he shares with his kids while raising them to be normal.
Being a well-known celebrity can make it difficult to raise children away from the spotlight, giving them a normal upbringing, but that isn't a problem for Kevin Costner.
The "Yellowstone" star is a devoted husband and a loving father to his wife and seven children. Kevin, an actor, singer, and producer, first became a father nearly four decades ago when he welcomed daughter Annie with his ex-wife, Cindy Silva. The former couple later had a daughter, Lily, and a son, Joe.
He had his fourth child and second son, Liam, with Bridget Rooney. In 2004, the award-winning actor married again, this time to Christine Baumgartner. Following their marriage, they welcomed three kids, Cayden Wyatt, Logan Hayes, and Grace Avery.
Interestingly enough, Kevin's busy and large family has never been an excuse for him to take a break from fatherhood. The actor has a close relationship with all of his children and once told People:
"I'm really comfortable with my family. I'm really comfortable with my children. Our house is like a river: You've just got to get into the flow of it ... And whatever you thought it was going to be, maybe it still can, but it's going to have to work with what the day brings."
This comfort was earned by sacrificing and spending time to raise his offspring. Although Kevin has always tried to bring out the best in his children by instilling the right values, he does not pride himself on being the perfect father.
Still, while he gets to have some fun with his family when he takes a work break, "The Untouchables" star noted that people barely know anything about how his family works. He makes memories with his wife and kids when he's not in front of the camera.
At the same time, the mini-Costners realized their father's influence on their lives. Even though he's an award-winning on-screen character for fans, they see him as a loving father to emulate.
His oldest child, Annie, who was born in 1984, also showed a talent for acting. She starred with her father in the Oscar-winning movie "Dances With Wolves" as Christine.
Amid her other acting features, which include "The Postman" and "The Baby-Sitters Club," she touted her producer skills in 2014 after establishing a producing company known as Sound Off Films. This led her to work with the industry's finest.
Annie is also happily married to Dr. Danny Cox in 2016. The actress and the doctor held a memorable wedding ceremony at her father's private estate in Carpinteria, California.
Lily is a talented actress and singer, just like her sister. She's worked with Kevin on a number of projects, both on screen and with his band, Kevin Costner & Modern West.
Kevin's first son, Joe, followed in his father's footsteps and became an actor after working closely with his dad and older sisters. Despite his mastery of acting and singing, he chose a different path and became an audio engineer and production sound mixer.
Having another career didn't diminish Kevin's support for his son over the years. In fact, a few years ago, he praised his son's behavior and how he surrounded himself with good friends. The actor's second son, Liam, prefers life out of the spotlight, and has managed to maintain a low profile for many years.
On the one hand, his younger half-siblings have been caught on camera numerous times with their dad on red-carpet events, but they have yet to establish themselves as actors or singers.
Kayden, the eldest of Kevin and Baumgartner's sons, has a passion for music and probably has supportive parents too. Though the actor was hesitant to start fatherhood at the age of 50, he decided to do it and never egretted any moment..
Two years later, the couple had another son, Hayden Logan, who loved sports and played in little league. The youngest child in the family is Grace Avery, is every bit a girly girl. Unlike her brothers, she is more into dancing and sewing. However, she is also observant.

From an early age, she realized that his father had to change his appearances for roles. During an appearance in Today, he revealed:
"If I come home — and that haircut I actually had was pretty severe — and Gracie looks at me and then looks at Mom and says 'Daddy's been fighting again, huh?'"
