All fans of The Vampire Diaries have been asking to see some of the main characters in the spin-off that is airing on The CW television network, Legacies. But, here’s what they’ve mentioned about Elena Gilbert in Legacies.

The popular spin-off of The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, Legacies, is gearing up to start production on its Season 4 on The CW. However, fans are still wondering if Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) or any member of the main series will ever be seen.

During the fifth and final season of the first spin-off The Originals, there were rumors about where Elena was going on her next journey. With Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) briefly returning to Mystic Falls. Remember that Elena always showed her interest in pursuing a career in medicine during her time on The Vampire Diaries.

Based on the events that occur in the spin-off Legacies, it is likely that Elena is still following in her adoptive father’s footsteps and maintaining his practice, as she may have managed to become a doctor.

But, during Legacies season 1 episode 10, Lizzie (Jenny Boyd) heard mention of Stefanie Salvatore (Kennedi Clements), the daughter of Elena and Damon (Ian Somerhalder), who was named after the late Stefan.

With the twists and turns that happened in Legacies, fans still want to see more characters from the main series The Vampire Diaries, so they are looking forward to seeing Elena Gilbert in at least one guest episode. But will that happen?

The CW has confirmed that Season 4 of Legacies will premiere on Thursday, October 14, along with the final episodes of Season 3 that were not aired.
