If Pauley Perrette's name is unfamiliar to you, you've most likely seen her in NCIS. Yes, she was the one who played Abby Sciuto, forensic scientist police laboratory assistant for no less than 15 seasons. And in a tweet, accompanied by a video, the actress chose to reveal a terrible event that occurred last year when she suffered a stroke.

It is September 2. A year ago, I had a massive attack. Prior to that, I lost many family members and friends I loved, including my father and cousin Wayne,” she wrote. “So I'm still surviving after this traumatic life I've lived... However, I remain full of gratitude and faith, and ALWAYS THERE!”

"How many times have I been close to death?", added Pauley Perrette in a video message, showing off a multicolored hair, before listing the many traumas that have marked her existence.

“Beyond my allergy to hair dye, my food allergies, I am a survivor of domestic vio*le*nce and r*a*pe, and I was a*ssaulted by a homeless man who almost ki*ll*ed me… but I’m still here,” she said.

The actress had a severe allergy in 2014, resulting in hospitalization. In addition, following her departure from NCIS in 2018, she revealed that she had been attacked and intimidated while filming the show.
