Remember Abby Sciuto? Pauley Perrette's Back on the 'Gram, and Wow!
Former NCIS Star Turns Heads with Stylish Return

Scrolling through Instagram this weekend felt a little brighter, and guess who popped up? None other than Pauley Perrette! After keeping things pretty quiet for the last few months, the actress we all adored as the quirky, brilliant Abby Sciuto on NCIS decided to share a little slice of her life, and honestly, it was just great to see her.

She posted some lovely snaps of herself hanging out with friends at the LA Zoo. And tucked in there was a sweet throwback picture – Pauley at the very same zoo years ago, beaming alongside the legendary Betty White. A lovely memory to share.

Forget the Black Pigtails – Check Out That Hair!

But what really got everyone talking? Pauley's hair! Gone is the iconic jet-black look we knew so well from her NCIS days (which we saw in that Betty White photo). Instead, she's rocking this absolutely vibrant, colourful 'do. Think streaks of green, blue, maybe some purple – a total rainbow explosion!

And let me tell you, fans noticed. The comment section pretty much blew up with love for the new style.

"Omg your hair is amazing" - Fan Comment

"I'm obsessed with your hair" - Fan Comment

People weren't just loving the hair, though. There was a real sense of warmth, with comments like:

"You look so well and vibrant." - Fan Comment

It’s just lovely to see her looking so happy and colourful.

Catching Up with Pauley: The Move to Instagram

If you were wondering where she’s been posting, Pauley actually made the jump from Twitter to Instagram towards the end of last year. She mentioned things getting a bit strange over on Twitter, writing: "There's some really weird twit going on here… SO……… I have actually put myself on @instagram after all this time. I'm @thepauleyp on IG. All other accounts there or here claiming to be me are fake." So, make sure you're following the right account if you want to keep up!

More Than Just a New Look: Pauley's Incredible Strength

Of course, we all remember Pauley as Abby, a role she owned from 2003 all the way to 2018. And while many fans (myself included!) hold out hope she might pop back into the NCIS world someday, she's been pretty clear that she doesn't plan on returning.

But beyond the fame and the fan-favourite roles, Pauley has been navigating some incredibly tough times. It adds another layer to seeing her looking so bright and well. Recently, she shared something deeply personal and quite shocking on what was then her Twitter feed.

She revealed that just over a year ago, she experienced a massive stroke. Sharing this on the anniversary, September 2nd, she posted a video and wrote with incredible honesty:

"It's 9/2. One year ago I had a massive stroke. Before that I lost so many beloved family and friends, and daddy and then Cousin Wayne. Yet still a survivor after this traumatic life I’ve been given so far… And still so grateful, still so full of faith, and STILL HERE!" - Pauley Perrette

In the accompanying video, her resilience shone through despite the gravity of her words: "Oh my God, it's September 2nd, it's the one-year anniversary since I had a stroke and I’m still here."

She even added, with a touch of disbelief and strength, "Yes, I’m still here again, like how many times do I cheat death?" It was a raw moment where she also reminded everyone of other terrifying experiences she's survived, including a severe allergic reaction to hair dye and being the victim of an assault.

Brighter Days and Rainbow Hues

Seeing Pauley Perrette embrace vibrant colours and share moments of joy after weathering such immense storms is truly inspiring. That rainbow hair feels like more than just a style choice; it feels like a symbol of her enduring spirit. It's a reminder that even after the toughest times, there's still room for colour, joy, and gratitude. We're just glad she's sharing it with us, and judging by the fan reaction, everyone else is too. Here's to Pauley – still here, still vibrant, and still uniquely herself.
