“Ruthless manipulators”: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, again in the crosshairs

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex received harsh appreciations to their latest professional projects.

Since leaving the British royal family, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been involved in several professional projects. As a result, they’ve been running hours of commercials in the American media, all of which focus on the monarchy’s flaws. Currently, the actress can be seen in Netflix’ children’s project “Pearl,” as well as a new initiative called “40X40,” in which she will support women on labor issues. In this context, journalist Sarah Vine was forthright in her assessments, encouraging herself to label the Duke and Duchess of Sussex “ruthless and manipulative.”

Via Daily Mail, Vine stated that despite the laudable goals of Prince Harry’s wife projects, Meghan has not acted in accordance with what she professes. “When you do something like this, you’ve to choose very carefully, you’ve to appear sincere. The problem is that this whole narrative Sussexes’ are trying to build with ‘we are very caring and loving people’ does not match their behavior towards their own family over the last 6 to 12 months, which has been the opposite of loving and caring,” the communicator said.

Without any reservations, the journalist continued her brutal appreciation. “They’ve demonstrated that they’re ruthless manipulators when it comes to how they present themselves.” Furthermore, her colleague Richard Eden pointed out that Markle‘s desire to help women finds no basis in her latest media actions.

In January 2020, she and her husband announced their intention to abandon their role in the British royal family and become financially independent.

“It’s about helping women, but look at the women who were closest to Meghan. We’re talking about the Duchess of Cambridge, who was publicly attacked in the most prominent way and couldn’t defend herself at all,” Ede added, putting Meghan Markle in the crosshairs again.

This isn’t the first time that the press seems to have turned its back on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Following the scandalous interview Meghan and Harry gave Oprah Winfrey, many have pointed out that some comments were unfair and disrespectful to the prince’s family.

“Pearl”, Meghan Markle’s new project

Despite leaving her acting career behind, Meghan Markle remains involved in the audiovisual industry, as she revealed in July when she announced that she is working on a new animated series with Netflix.

Markle’s most memorable television role was Rachel Zane, on the American series “Suits.”

“Like many girls her age, our heroine Pearl is on a journey of self-discovery as she tries to overcome life’s daily challenges. I am delighted that Archewell Productions, in partnership with the powerful Netflix platform and these incredible producers, is bringing you this new animated series, which pays tribute to extraordinary women throughout history, “Markle published in her official statement.
