In May, executives announced that SEAL Team would be moving from CBS to Paramount Plus. As the October 10 release date approaches, fans can now look forward to new Paramount Plus episodes sooner than expected.

Season five will still premiere on CBS on Sunday, Oct. 10 at 10/9c. Episode 4 is thus set to air on CBS Sunday, Oct. 31, and following the West Coast broadcast, Episode 5 will be available to stream on Paramount+.

Many fans were puzzled by the SEAL Team‘s transfer, which was to be expected given that ViacomCBS owns both streaming services.

According to the Financial Times, the change was made to make the show more appealing to younger audiences.

Season 5’s fifth episode will premiere on CBS on October 31. Viewers can catch up on the rest of the season on Paramount Plus.

This division was made in order to gradually introduce fans into the platform and encourage viewers who aren’t subscribed to join the service.

Fortunately, the first SEAL Team episode from Paramount Plus will air shortly after the CBS finale.
Following the relocation, new episodes will air every Sunday, on a weekly basis.

The move of SEAL Team to Paramount Plus is a part of ViacomCBS’s future plans for the platform to become a one-stop-shop for all of its programming.

TV Line released an exclusive scoop and image ahead of SEAL Team season five debut, revealing what fans can expect.

According to showrunner Spencer Hunt, the team will be sent to Africa following a mass casualty, which will be “a mission unlike any they’ve done before.”

Season five will include “personal components that impact each and every operator,” with its lead to Africa. According to TV Line, the deployment will happen in episode four and “the Africa mission kicks off a two-parter that wraps the military drama’s CBS run.”

In season four, Ray Perry (played by Neil Brown Jr) finally spoke to his wife Naima Perry (Parisa Fakhri) about the trauma he suffered after being taken hostage. He did this to save his marriage, after an encouraging conversation with Jason Hayes (David Boreanaz).

The showrunner revealed that Ray will be taking “small steps to fix things” in his marriage in the upcoming season.

Fans will also learn “pretty quickly” about the fate of Sonny Quinn (A J Buckley) and Lisa Davis (Toni Trucks) after they spent season four trying to decide whether one or both of them will move to Texas.

Many viewers believed that as they were waiting for season five, this was an indication that his 20-year tenure on SEAL Team was coming to an end. Thanks to these air dates, fans won’t have to wait too long to find out the answers to their burning questions.

Season 5 of SEAL Team premieres on CBS in the USA on Sunday, October 10.
