After the scandalous interview given by Meghan Markle and Prince William to Oprah Winfrey, details about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex came to light. At the beginning of the relationship between the two, the idyllic romance managed to capture the British public, who saw the couple as a breath of fresh air within the monarchy. However, over the years, several details leaked to the media, casting doubt on the brand new fairytale. Markle’s brother recently revealed that on the day of the royal wedding, he sent a warning letter to Prince Harry.
According to In Touch, Meghan Markle’s estranged brother, Thomas Markle Jr., tells Prince Harry that it’s ‘not too late’ to not marry his sister. “I am the brother of Meghan Markle, I am the elder brother of all. I think she will ruin your life. She is very shallow, a jaded, superficial, conceited woman who will make fun of you and the royal family heritage,” Thomas wrote.
In addition, Prince Harry ‘s brother-in-law confirmed his claims in an advance clip for the upcoming season of “Big Brother VIP Australia” in which he will participate. However, Markle’s brother was not the only one to make his opinion known about the couple. William and Kate Middleton also offered their own.
The royal author Ingrid Seward told US Weekly that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had serious doubts about the start of the romance. “It all happened so fast that William and Kate didn’t have time to get to know Meghan because Harry barely knew her. And of course William and Kate would have thought, ‘Oh, she’s been married before, she’s older than Harry, I hope she makes him happy’. Anyone would think that.” Apparently Prince Harry turned a deaf ear to all suggestions and stoically followed his heart.

Following the Royal wedding, the couple were distant from the members of the monarchy and are currently in the United States . After the interview with Winfrey, Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex became more frequent and they all expressed profound complaints about the monarchy life.
After stepping down as head of the royal family in early 2020, Meghan did not return to the United Kingdom and takes refuge in California, caring of her two young heirs.
