Zhurong sends a selfie from Mars

China Mars rover offers new images from the Red Planet

The Chinese space agency CNSA has gotten more pictures taken by their Mars rover Zhurong on Mars. One of the picturess is a small selfie taken with a wireless camera. The picture was taken by first placing the camera on the ground and then setting Zhurong back ten meters so the camera could take a nice picture.

The rover also sent home a panoramic image, which you can see below.

Zhurong will now travel around the planet to see if ice or water can be found.
